As a pastor, to see God place you in the lives of people, to help guide them closer to Him is a great honor, it's a true gift from the Lord. A life in services to him. One way He seals that gift is by blessing us with the opportunity to baptize fellow new believers and born-again believers. As one symbolizes their commitment to Christ with a baptism, the Heavens open up and even the angels weep with excitement. It truly is a blessing and honor to be part of something so glorious.

What is the significance of baptism?
Baptism is an opportunity to wash ourselves of past sins and devote ourselves to the way of the Lord.

Why should I consider getting baptized?

To follow Christ, one must recognize that Jesus himself was baptized. He was not a sinner and yet was humbled in obedience in order to set an example to be followed. Baptism is an act of obedience and faith to the commands of Christ as well as a public declaration that you are a follower of Jesus Christ. It is your confession of faith and commitment and an important foundation for Christian life.

What is the significance of baptism?

Baptism is a symbol of the burial and resurrection of Christ. We enter into the water to identify with the death on the cross and emerge anew as Christ did from the tomb. It is a symbol of your new life and commitment you have made in your heart, one that is lived out daily.
